I've been writing poetry for family and friends since childhood. Books and clothes are nice gifts, but verse written just for loved ones has always been the favorite.

The responses gathered from decades of doing this have led me to do it for others too: people love to receive gifts that are unusual and made just for them.  And I welcome any challenge! Maybe you want your husband to have an appreciative message from the dog.  Or perhaps you just want to say you're sorry about forgetting her birthday last week.

   A tribute to someone won't ever wear out, and will be cherished.
